Set in the spectacular grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, the first Countryfile Live was a great success, say organisers - with 125,000 visitors attending the four-day event.
Visitors to last years' show enjoyed talks and interviews with the Countryfile presenters, with Matt Baker, Ellie Harrison, Adam Henson, Anita Rani, Tom Heap and John Craven in attendance.
There were also debates on rural subjects, farm machinery displays and live shows in the main arena, plus a large number of food and drink stands and live cookery displays.
The event this year take place 3-6 August at Bleinheim Palace.
Tim Etchells, Managing Director of SME London said: “This event has been two years in the making and a huge amount of hard work has gone into ensuring it brings the best of Britain’s wonderful countryside to life.
We were delighted with the success of our first of many Countryfile Live events. The phenomenal visitor numbers we experienced prove there is a real desire for the British public to experience and learn more about the incredible countryside we enjoy in this country.”
